Anca Strulea Danique Lummen

Introduction to Web Security

BSc. Anca Strulea
assisted by MSc. Danique Lummen

Anca is bright and ambitious student from the Vrij Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), who is currently doing her master in Computer Security. One of her biggest accomplishments is getting selected as one of the 40 students to receive a scholarship from ASML. Anca has always been passionate about sharing her knowledge with others, which is why she will be given a workshop on the Introduction to Web Security. During which she will how to intercept traffic, and if time permits some basic web vulnerabilities.

She will be assisted by Danique Lummen, who is currently working as a Cyber Security Specialist at Schiphol. In 2022 she was the Team Captain of Team Europe in the International Cyber security Challenge (ICC), competing in a two-day hacking capture the flag competition against other continents and countries. Her task was specifically focused on forensics and team management. They managed to secure first place for the jeopardy day, as well as first place for the overall competition. Furthermore, Danique is a volunteer for the Challenge The Cyber organisation. This organisation is responsible for the yearly National Capture The Flag (CTF) competition in the Netherlands.

The workshop is suitable for both highschool and (applied) university students.
