Meet the Team!

Hack4her

How it all started

We are a team of 4 women who are passionate about technology and want to inspire fellow girls to pursue a career in Cyber Security. Our mission is to create a safe space for women to become more knowledgeable in the field of Cyber Security.

We participated together in the Hack4Her 2024 competition at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), and managed to secure the first place in the DuckDB challenge. We were inspired by this event, but wanted to created a more Cyber Security focused competition. This is what lead us to create our own event: Hack{h}erQuest. A Capture The Flag (CTF) competition for women only.

Novi Liuther

Novi Liuther is the Cyber Security enthusiast who took the initiative to start Hack{h}erQuest. She is currently working as a Student Assistant for the course Operating Systems Security at Radboud University. However, she already has quite some work experience as a Program Advisor in Pontianak Area (West Kalimantan, Indonesia). Novi is fond of creating a positive learning environment and is always eager to help others.

Lisanne Weidmann

Website and networking

Lisanne Weidmann

Lisanne Weidmann is a master student at Radboud University who got into hacking during the course Web Security. She has quite some expierence with CTFs already, and has often been the only woman in the group. Lisanne is responsible for building the website. She also has a lot of connections in the CTF world, which she uses promote the event and find help where needed.

She is also giving a workshop on memory corruption during the event. Specifically, she will walk you through the basics of ROP exploitation. See the workshops page for more information.

Media and Sign-ups

Bezayite Amenu

Bezayite Amenu is a student who got into hacking at Radboud University. She brings a lot of creativity to the table and is responsible for the sign-ups and media promotion material. She is currently working hard to finish her bachelor's degree in Computing Science.

Aliza Reif

Advisory role

Aliza Reif

Aliza is currently working for the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in the AI-Security institute, where she is conducting research on Security and AI. Furthermore, Aliza likes to play CTF, specifically she loves to do Cryptography challenges.

Last year, she gave a Cryptography workshop during HackherQuest2025. Due to her being quite busy, she now has a small role as an advisory member to the team.
